We’ve introduced an enhanced workflow designed to significantly improve efficiency when processing single-item orders in your warehouse. This update is tailored for businesses with a high volume of single-item ecommerce orders, enabling faster picking, packing, and dispatching.

What’s New?

Optimised Workflow for Single-Item Orders:

• Wave Picking: Group single-item orders into a Split Pick & Pack Wave to maximize cross-order efficiency.

• Streamlined Packing: Pick all items in the Split Pick & Pack Wave onto a single trolley and process them item-by-item at the packing station.

Efficient Scanning in the Pack Step:

• Scanning a product's barcode (PUOM) on the Pack screen now automatically opens the first unpacked Sale Order requiring that item.

• Sale Orders are prioritized as follows:

  1. Orders with a single unit of the scanned item.

  2. Orders with any quantity of the scanned item.

Simplified Process:

• Grab any item, scan it, and the system will instantly pull up an order that can be fulfilled with that product.

• This eliminates the time spent searching for the correct product for an order, boosting productivity.

This update reduces the time spent picking and packing by simplifying how single-item orders are processed. It ensures faster dispatch and a smoother workflow for your team, especially for businesses with high-volume ecommerce operations.
