Merging of Fee Categories

Admins can now merge non-system-generated Fee Categories into another of the same “Applies To” type, cleaning up duplicates while preserving charge history. Once the merge job finishes, the source category is automatically deactivated and hidden everywhere.

Heads-up: Merges are permanent—they can’t be undone.

Typical Use Cases

  • Consolidate two “Handling Fee” categories accidentally created.

  • Fold legacy categories into a new standard set.

  • Tidy up existing Fee Categories before utilising our new General Ledger Mapping feature.
