Version 6.23.0 brings major improvements to the picking workflow, especially for Pick to Tote users. With two highly requested updates, we’ve enhanced both speed and usability to help users move faster and more confidently through the picking process.
Smarter Order Lookup with Tote Barcodes
We’ve made tote scanning much smarter in this release. When a tote barcode is scanned, the app now uses that input to automatically filter the items & orders list, instantly surfacing the relevant order associated with the scanned tote.
Items tab: You can now enter a tote barcode directly into the search box.
Orders tab: When the Orders view is selected, the existing search bar can now also be used to enter a tote barcode to quickly locate the associated order.
This makes it easier to find what you’re looking for, especially when working with large order lists or complex Pick to Tote waves.
Faster Picking Flow for Pick to Tote Orders
You can now continue scanning the next item in a Pick to Tote wave immediately after scanning the tote and quantity, even while the previous item is still processing. The app automatically focuses on the next item and brings it to the top of the list, allowing uninterrupted scanning.
If something goes wrong during scanning, here’s how it’s handled:
For most errors, you can keep scanning without delay. The item with the issue is automatically moved to the top of the list so you can come back to it later.
If a problem is detected immediately (such as an invalid barcode), an error message appears straight away, allowing you to resolve it before moving on.
This update reduces wait times and helps keep scanning fast and efficient, even in areas with slower internet.
