Wave Picks will now automatically update to "Completed"

In preparation for the release of our new Pack Screen (rolling out throughout September), we’ve implemented a minor change to Wave Picks.

Previously, after all Sale Orders within a Wave were Packed, the wave needed to be manually updated to “Completed” for it to disappear from the mobile app, and from the “In Progress” tab on the web interface.

Now, as soon as all Sale Orders within a Wave are “Packed”, the wave is automatically updated to “Completed” status.

This change has been implemented because the new Pack Screen no longer requires users to enter waves to perform the pack step on orders. Instead, users can simply scan totes, pick lists or SO barcodes to proceed with packing individual orders from the wave. When packing in this flow, waves only need to be accessed for the purposes of picking, so manually needing to mark a wave as “Completed” after packing all orders is no longer a logical part of the workflow.
