Pack Screen, Picked Status and Warehouse Fulfilments
We’re very excited to announce the release of our new Pack Screen, Picked Status and Warehouse Fulfilments!
These major enhancements have been added to simplify and improve order fulfilment in CartonCloud’s Warehouse Management System (WMS). This new workflow separates picking and packing into distinct steps, making packing more accurate, traceable, and easier to manage.
Key Changes
New Pack Screen – A guided interface to pack items into packages with individual weights and dimensions.
New “Picked” status – Sale Orders now progress through: Awaiting Pick and Pack → Picking in Progress → Picked → Packed → Dispatched.
Warehouse Fulfilments – A new consignment type created when packing, capturing package-level data (dimensions, weight, and item-to-package mapping).
Carrier & Label Consistency – All future carrier integrations will use Warehouse Fulfilments, improving label printing and booking consistency.
Delivery Tracking – Orders packed with Warehouse Fulfilments now move through Shipped and Delivered statuses, giving visibility after dispatch.
Optional Adoption – Existing workflows remain unchanged until you enable the Pack Screen in your organisation settings.
Additional Enhancements
TMS Features in WMS – Access to Transport Products, Carriers, Delivery Runs, and Run Sheets to support carrier bookings directly from WMS.
Mobile App Update Required – Version 6.29+ is needed to support the new Picked status and Pack Screen.
Customisable Settings – New organisation-level setting to enable automatic consignment generation from Sale Orders.
Availability
The Pack Screen is being rolled out progressively between 8 September and end of September 2025.
