New Organisation Defaults for Consignment Creation

We have improved how Consignments can be created from Sale Orders, giving admins more control and making setup easier.

  • New Organisation-level control (default) - By default, Consignment creation is now controlled at the Organisation level, under Organisation → Warehouse → General → Consignment/Warehouse Fulfilment, with Customers following that setting, while still allowing adjustments for each customer. Existing tenant behaviour is preserved unless updated by an admin.

  • All new Customers default to Org settings - Newly created Customers will automatically use the Organisation setting.

  • More flexibility - WMS-only tenants can now enable automatic Consignment creation if desired.

  • Manual option remains - Consignments can be created manually from the Sale Order Consignment tab.

  • Clearer interface - On the Customers/Edit page, the settings group previously called Consignment has been renamed to Consignment / Warehouse Fulfilment to better align with the new Pack Screen.

     

These updates reduce setup effort, give admins central control, and support faster rollout of warehouse automation without disrupting existing workflows.
