Standard Carrier & Tracking Fields + Shopify Fulfilment Improvement
We’ve added standardised Carrier & Tracking fields within Consignments. These fields can be automatically populated by Carrier Integrations and store the Carrier name, Tracking Reference, and Tracking URL.
Additionally, our Self-Managed Shopify integration has been updated to use these new fields, enabling consignment-level fulfilment. This provides more granular tracking information for Sale Orders split across two different consignments, the tracking details, and what is contained within each consignment is visible within Shopify. Shopify fulfilments will continue to utilise Sale Order-level tracking and carrier fields if the new standard consignment carrier and tracking fields are not populated.
Over the coming months, existing carrier integrations will be updated to make use of these new fields, and upcoming Self-Managed Storefront Integrations will depend on these new fields.
