Self-Managed Shopify Integration Support for Order Editing and Upsell Apps

We’ve added support for order editing and post-purchase upsell apps. Once enabled, orders only flow through to CartonCloud once customers are done adding, swapping, or upgrading.

To manage this, we’ve added a new setting within our Self-Managed Shopify Integration:

  • Delay Sale Order creation until Shopify holds are released - When set to On, the Sale Order will not be created in CartonCloud while a Shopify fulfilment order is on hold. Creation will occur when the hold is released.

Your Shopify store (and editing/upsell app) must keep orders on hold for the editing window; once that window ends, CartonCloud creates the Sale Order with the final details.

Note: Existing integration instances keep their previous behaviour until you reconfigure and turn the toggle on.
