Customer Visibility for Orders Containing Their Stock
As an admin, you can now let your customers view Sale Orders and consignments that contain their stock, even when the order belongs to another customer. This gives customers on Cross Customer Picking the transparency to track fulfilment of their own stock, follow order progress and reconcile their reporting, without you turning off cross-customer picking or providing updates manually.
The new setting is optional and disabled by default. Simply enable Cross Customer Picking under Organisation Settings > Warehouse, then turn on the option to allow customer users to view all orders containing their stock. If the setting stays off, existing behaviour is unchanged and customers continue to see only orders owned by their own customer.
When enabled, customers get a read-only view of orders they do not own. They can see the order in list views, search and reporting, along with order details such as the owning customer, delivery address, references, instructions and custom fields, but only their own product lines. Totals on shared consignments are scoped to their own items, and charges, comments, documents, invoices, history and other customers' lines are not visible. Orders that do not contain their stock remain hidden entirely, and only the order owner can make changes.
