Optimised Workflow for Single-Item Orders:
Wave Picking: Group single-item orders into a Split Pick & Pack Wave to maximize cross-order efficiency.
Streamlined Packing: Pick all items in the Split Pick & Pack Wave onto a single trolley and process them item-by-item at the packing station.
Efficient Scanning in the Pack Step:
Scanning a product's barcode (PUOM) on the Pack screen now automatically opens the first unpacked Sale Order requiring that item.
Sale Orders are prioritized as follows:
Orders with a single unit of the scanned item.
Orders with any quantity of the scanned item.
Simplified Process:
Grab any item, scan it, and the system will instantly pull up an order that can be fulfilled with that product.
This eliminates the time spent searching for the correct product for an order, boosting productivity.
This update reduces the time spent picking and packing by simplifying how single-item orders are processed. It ensures faster dispatch and a smoother workflow for your team, especially for businesses with high-volume ecommerce operations.
